Shibuya Hoppmann Corporation supplies various types of rotary fillers, such as net weight, piston and flow meter. They are specifically engineered for sanitary. Our rotary fillers are suitable for glass or plastic containers and are equipped with automated controlled CIP/SIP systems.

Our rotary system for beer and carbonated beverages comes equipped with advanced fillers and no vent tubes (patented) for filling beer into glass bottles or metal cans at speeds from 400 bpm to 1500 bpm. PET bottles can be filled up to 1200 bpm.
Our rotary aseptic and sanitary fillers for pharmaceuticals and foods are designed to exceed the most stringent regulatory requirements. Piston, net weight, time pressure, mass flow meter and other types of filling systems are available and all are equipped with an automated CIP/SIP.

Types of Rotary Fillers

Weight Filler Model
Fills containers to a preset fill weight using a load cell mounted under the bottle rest to directly control the filling valve operation. The weight filler is able to accommodate a wide variety of container sizes.

Features: The simplified, liquid path with no irregular surface allows efficient washing and sanitation. The weight control computer automatically corrects for the effects of the centrifugal forces of the filler rotation. Additionally, the automatic zero and tare weighing functions combine for accurate fill weighing regardless of machine speed. Fill weight adjustment is accomplished quickly and precisely using a keyboard.

Options: S/CIP system, CIP adapter automatic connecting system, FBH system, Load cell check system, Automatic filler bowl elevating device, Machine exterior automatic washing unit, data accounting unit

Flow Meter Filler Model – Carbonated Beverages
There are two models of carbonated beverage fillers, flow meter filler that uses volumetric control for filling and a pressure/gravity filler that fills to a preset level. Both models can be used for carbonated and non-carbonated beverages to give greater flexibility.

These fillers are for both carbonated and non-carbonated beverages and utilize flow meters mounted on each valve to control filling to a predetermined volume. Model FGF can handle a variety of bottles sizes and model FGF-C is for cans.

Features: The simplified liquid path with no irregular surface allows efficient washing and sanitation. An electromagnetic flow meter especially developed for filling applications and filling volume correction system ensure accurate filling. By using dry counter pressurization with no mist spray and a double snift mechanism to reduce snift shock, liquid foaming is prevented and ambient temperature filling is possible.

Options: S/CIP system, CIP adapter automatic connecting system, automatic filler bowl elevating device, non-carbonated beverage preparation system for dual-purpose, snift gas recovery system, data accounting unit

Flow Meter Filler Model – Uncarbonated Beverages
In this liquid filler, flow meters connected directly to the filling valves control filling to a constant volume. Model VFF can handle various sized bottles and model VFF-C is exclusively for cans.

Features: The simplified liquid path with no irregular surface allows efficient washing and sanitation. An electromagnetic flow meter especially developed for filling applications and filling volume correction system ensure accurate filling. Spreader-type filling minimizes foaming and over flow, achieving clean operating conditions. Filling volume can be adjusted easily using switches on the operation panel, reducing size-change time.

Options: S/CIP system, CIP adapter automatic connecting system, automatic filler bowl elevating device, FBH system, data accounting unit

Control System: Weight signals from the flow meters are received by the weight controller and directly control the opening and closing of the filling valves. If the optional data processor unit is connected, the filling weight of each valve can be printed out as a histogram for simple quality control.

Gravity Filler Model
This filler for carbonated or non-carbonated beverages fills to a preset level. Model GF is for glass and PET bottles and model GF-C is for cans.

Features: A CO2 gas pressure control system for maintaining pressure inside the filler bowl at a constant level and a liquid level control system for maintaining the liquid level inside the filler bowl at a constant level ensure accurate filling. The simplified filling valves allow efficient washing and sanitation. The valves can be used for both carbonated and non-carbonated beverages so that replacement of valves is not required when changing product type. Gentle handling reduces container instability during feeding and foaming of product during filling. This also reduces noise and assures smooth feeding even in high-speed operation. Change parts can be replaced by one-touch operation simplifying size change and reducing changeover times.

Options: S/CIP system, CIP adapter automatic connecting system, automatic filler bowl elevating device, machine exterior automatic washing unit, FBH system, non-carbonated beverage preparation system for dual-purpose, snift gas recovery system
